A very special guest in Northern Light Yoga!

The Brazilian percussionist Célio de Carvalho.

Célio is a very well-known name in the world of Latin music, jazz, fusion, and pop.

He played in more than 60 albums, collaborating with several artists in Brazil, Norway, and Germany.

Nils Petter Molvær, Bugge Wesseltoft, Sissel Kyrkjebø, Jimmydownload.jpgdownload.jpgRosenberg, Claudio Latini... are just a few of the remarkable musicians who chose to have the unique, soulful sound of Célio's percussions in their music.

Célio is not only a musician, he is also a yogi and a spiritualist.

His family comes from a tradition of Umbanda, the Brazilian spirituality where African and European beliefs are mixed in a beautiful syncretism. He practiced yoga and meditation from a very young age and met many famous gurus and spiritual mentors.

In this special concert

Célio will introduce the concept of "Wave", a spiritual dance, where the body naturally surrenders to the music.

There will be rhythm, groove, ecstatic love, and joy .

It is a perfect way of ending the Valentine's weekend, where love, compassion, and soulful relationships are celebrated.

The concert will conclude with a relaxing, soundscape meditation together with the yoga teacher and musician Massimo Barberi.
