The Integral Cleanse schedule

Integral Cleanse is specifically scheduled during the shift from one season into the next. This transitional time allows you to more efficiently release the old and start anew.

  • Sun., March 30: Begin with cleansing meals

  • Mon., March 31: Begin daily dry scrubbing

  • Tues., April 1: Begin daily snehana (drinking ghee)

  • Fri., April 4: Final day of snehana; afternoon steamy shower*

  • Sat., April 5: Purgation*

  • Sun., April 6: Starting fresh—back to basics*

  • Mon., April 7: Begin daily vasti (oil enema)

  • Tues., April 8: Vashti

  • Wed., April 9: Vashti

  • Thurs., April 10 - Sat., April 12: Final 3 days—rejuvenation (Less is more.)**

  • Ideally, clear your calendar on these three days: the day before purgation, the day of purgation and the day after. If that isn't possible, it is important to clear your schedule for the full purgation day (early morning through the evening).

  • After the Integral Cleanse ends, it's ideal to continue the rejuvenation practices on your own for at least one additional week.

Umā was masterful in her guidance through the cleanse. In true Umā fashion, the program isn't only a cleansing. It's a filling up — on the magic of Ayurveda and the treasure troves of wisdom passed down through the ages. I have come away with a deeper understanding of what health is and just how good it feels.
