Answer. So why do some people wear turbans when practicing kundalini yoga?

Because the turban protects you, it acts as a filter and helps you tune into the frequencies you want to receive.

Also, the turban aligns the bones of your skull, and putting on a turban is like crowning yourself. It's not just covering your head, it's a very strong symbol that puts you into the role of a yogi, a raj-yogi, a royal yogi, into the role of a teacher, one who is committed to sharing and transmitting the teachings.

Therefore, you can choose to wear a turban. But sometimes too, a head covering does quite well.
